This illustrated motion inspiration from Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse, I created a looping animation featuring Miles Morales hanging out and sipping his soda listening to the instrumental of Wu-Tang’s 'Protect Ya Neck.'

 

The animation introduces a parallax effect, panning into Miles as he nods and moves his hand on cue to the beat. While also set in his hometown Brooklyn, this scene captures the essence of his neighborhood. Subtle touches added with police sirens flashing in the background and a nod to an iconic Marvel superhero in a neighbor's window.
